This type of accommodation is rather new in Vientiane, unlike for instance Bangkok, where hundreds of serviced apartments can be found. One of the main reasons for this is certainly the lack of the condominium-type buildings around here.

Still, there are some serviced apartments and the number is increasing. All of these don’t only offer medium to long term stay facilities, but also rooms that can be booked for a week or even less.
